Although at first glance, these images may look like traditional and digital photographs, they were created on a Macintosh computer, using various painting and graphics tools. Mary began as a traditional artist, using brush, acrylics and water colours. In her digital paintings, she applies similar techniques, but in the digital realm. The digital rendering of these paintings that you'll see here on the site, doesn't truly do justice to the depth and beauty that these works achieve in their original presentation. Printed on Arches watercolour paper, they are brought to life, and one can almost see brush-strokes, where no brush ever ventured.
