Fawn in pond

Fawn in pond
Camera: Olympus C2100
ISO: 200

Aperture: f 3.2

This photo was taken at the Arizona- Sonora Desert Museum. This a six-month old female fawn who was rescued by a farmer's dog in northern Arizona and was subsequently placed at the museum. She has been a popular addition to the museum because she has a very frisky personality. She loves to frolic in her small pond. This photo caught her just after she scratched herself and water was dripping from her hoof.
